Bright Path Education Group was founded on the belief that educational decisions should feel thoughtful, personal, and empowering.
Our Story
Bright Path Education Group was created to support students and families through some of the most important educational decisions they will face, from choosing the right school to navigating college, gap years, and early career pathways.
Over the past 25+ years, we have partnered with more than 300 families, working alongside students in classrooms and schools, in leadership roles, and supporting them through key academic and life transitions. We understand that no two students follow the same path and that success looks different for every family.
Bright Path exists to bring clarity, calm, and direction to a process that often feels complex or uncertain.
Educational systems are complex, and families are often expected to navigate them on their own.
We believe students thrive when guidance is personalized, expectations are realistic, and decisions are made with both heart and strategy. Bright Path exists to help families slow down, ask the right questions, and choose paths that align with who a student is, not just where they think they should go.

Meet Julie
Founder, Educator, Mentor
I’m Julie DiFilippo — an educator and leader who has spent over 25 years helping students discover who they are, what they’re capable of, and where they want to go. As the Founding Executive Director and Head of School at Bellesini Academy, I guided over 300 students and families through school searches, high school placement, college admissions, essays, financial aid, scholarships, and early career exploration.
What I cherished most were the relationships — listening deeply, creating calm in stressful moments, building long-term relationships, and helping families feel supported and organized.
That heart of that work became Bright Path.
Here, I blend deep experience with personal, compassionate guidance so families feel confident every step of the way. I am an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and am completing my Independent Educational Consultant Certificate through the University of California, Irvine, grounding my work in ethical standards, best practices, and student-centered support.
When I’m not working with students, you’ll find me reading in the sun, listening to podcasts, enjoying good coffee, or cheering on former students as they step into their next chapters.
